We went to buy a part for our water heater and the older lady that was the cashier was rude from the start. We asked for help looking for the part and she ignored us. Finally, someone gave us what he said would work. It didn’t work. We went back to see if we could exchange it for the right part and then the lady started yelling at us saying she can’t resell anything that’s open and to not even bother. We hadn’t even used the part. She could’ve said it without yelling, especially considering it was her staff that told us that was the part we needed. Worst customer service.

Went in to buy a part I needed thinking maybe it's better than Lowes and home depot as people say no one would help me the lady and the man were super rude when I asked for help. I ended up buying the part not even half way through the job it broke I tried to return it but the lady just yelled at me and no there was no language barrier I speak Spanish as well. Rather go to Lowes or home depot if this is the case and to over hear them call a tow truck on a car parked in a parking lot that just says customer parking just bizarre. Sadly this is not a place to do business with if your trying to fix something within the same day

Unlike home depot where you can't find anyone or know what I'm talking about. This place has workers who are helpful and provide great advice. Been here many times with questions on plumbing projects. The workers here guide you, get you the parts you need, they have everything. You don't get that at the big chain stores.... I live far but so worth the trip.

I posted Earlier of positive experiences at this store that I've gone to for 30+ years.
But, it changed today. I spent $45.17 at the store for 2 shower valves and a small can of paint. Home depot is closer but I choose to go to there instead. Anyway in putting together the valve stem, in tightening it the nut stem broke off, ( part not made in this country).
I went back to the store and was told , "we sold you a new one..."
Not even half off for another one ?nothing.
Loosing a customer for $14.99?
I guess making keys is worth more.

I enjoy this place a lot. The people here mainly speak spanish, but you can still get good service in English. It still takes me time to get used to the fact that the workers here are pretty knowledgeable. I used to going to home depot or lowe's and avoiding advice from the people who work there. Here at ziegler's, providing background on what i plan to do has led to me saving time and money due to the staff's recommendations. Also, they try to have a worker assist ever client that comes in, which is great.

If you need to buy from here and have a defective item to return, might want to go elsewhere to buy. Unfortunately, refund/exchange policy does not seem to be respected here as there have been more than 2 instances in which defective items were going to be returned (with a receipt), yet the "owner" rudely denies and blames customer for not testing items before leaving. On top of being denied a return/refund with receipt, the "owner" blames the customer of trying to steal from the store since they cannot prove the item was defective upon leaving their store. When the second attempt of a return/refund was made, a worker was asked if THEY could test the item before purchasing, and the worker denied and said no tests could be made. Have to take business elsewhere since this has not occurred once, nor with the same item. Two workers are helpful, but majority of the time most are short with patiencr and unhelpful.

I walked out of this shop never wanting to even look back I got discriminated on with my own race. It was going good an employer helped me find some sand paper I needed and told me there prices on the paint that I asked him for. I asked him if he mind if I looked around since I'm remodeling my house and I needed other stuff that I could buy since I was there. Well this lady with short curly hair stops me about 2 min of looking around that if I ordered paint I saI'd no then she is like what are you doing what do you want that I couldn't be just walking around that they're not home depot to be just looking that they don't play those games and the whole time just looking at my pockets hands. I just told here I was helped already I found what I need I was just looking to see what else I buy. I told her keep her stuff and walked out she embarrassed me made me write this review for her to read this.

Horrible customer service. Employees are rude and belittle customers. My parents went there and told me their experience, I was in disbelief, I went to see for myself, only to experience the same treatment, i walked out and took my business elsewhere. I highly recommend you go any where but here for your home repair needs.
