JJ was doing a brake MC swap on my FZ09. He was disassembling my knuckle guards and broke some of the metal housing on the handle bar (which, it turns, out didn't even need to be disassembled.) He refused to pay for a replacement part. He yelled at me, told me my bike was too dirty to work on and that I'm not a high end enough client and he refused to work on my bike after he completely bungled the MC swap. He also over punched the chain rivet in the master link on a brand new chain he installed making it kink and rendering the new chain useless.

He also has massive problems with scheduling. I had to come back to the shop several times for different jobs because he failed to write down all of the work that was supposed to be done on the day of the appointment so I would have to make multiple trips to Asuza which is 35 miles from my house.

He promised to fix his mistakes and then when I called or texted to schedule with him he was suddenly "too busy" to take my bike back in to fix his mistakes. He seemed to not know the difference between radial and axial brake systems and clearly didn't do any research before commencing the job. I have since been cleaning up his catastrophe. I wouldn't let him touch any of my bikes ever again.

He may be decent with suspension but he is not a mechanic and doesn't know how to do anything else on a bike besides suspension work.

Took my bike in for a tire change after working with them patiently for a couple days. During the tire change I heard a loud screeching sound come from the machine area. Remember it clearly because it hurt my ears. Didn’t think anything of it but it clicked now that it was the sound of my rim being scratched. I called to let them know but all I got was denials and that there was no way it was them. You look at the photos and tell me if that was a curb or a machine. After being patient and just being thankful they switched my tire all I got in return was attitude, couldn’t be them, no apologies, and a scratched rim. Wouldn’t recommend and if you do go, CHECK before you leave the shop.

Yesterday, 11/3/2024, was traveling down I-5 southbound near Valencia/Santa Clarita. Their truck was recklessly driving on the packed freeway, trying to deliberately push the car in front of them off the freeway. Almost hit myself and my fiance in the car. Nearly caused traffic collisions, potential deaths to families and drivers. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. Aggression and manic tendencies. I have footage of it chasing the car and almost crashing into a Tesla and a truck. Do not support this business.

Super pleased with these guys! Spoke with JJ over the phone and answered all my questions. Showed up in person and Ryan helped dial in the suspension on my XSR and flashed my ecu for my full akro exhaust. Great team, definitely a forever customer !

From all of the positive reviews, I know I found the right place to rebuild/replace front forks on my 2018 gsxr600. I went down in malibu canyon and bent the lower portion of my fork tubes.
After searching online for replacement I realized ohlins doesn't make a front fork for my bike. I searched local suspension shops and came across Suspension Matters. Called them the following day and spoke with "JJ" about my situatiom. He was very professional and we discussed my options. I am waiting for them to tear them down and see what all needs replaced . Then they will replace and rebuild them for me. Upgraded from stock of course.
I cant wait to see them once they are finished.
Just picked up rebuilt front forks from the guys @suspension_matters. They went above and beyond my expectations. In my opinion they went above and beyond what most shops would have to provide me with the most for my money. I will definitely recommend them to anyone.

JJ is my go-to guy for my suspension! Always take any new bike to him first thing. Suspension is so crucial and I would never recommend riding with stock factory settings. He works with riders at the track almost every weekend as well.

This guy knows what he's doing and will get your bike setup perfectly for whatever kind of riding that you do.
