Visited the store with a faulty product for exchange. This was all fine and a man helpfully swapped them out the back and checked it over for me but was treated extremely abruptly at the desk by 'Magdalene' as if I was not wanted in the store. She was acting as if under extreme pressure, it was not customer service orientated manner and seemed rude. I was not allowed a copy of my original reciept which I brought with me to the store.

This is a fantastic toy shop. There is a huge range of toys ? ? ?. The toys are arranged in a very logical way to choose. For example, toys under £10/- and so on. The prices of the toys here are reasonable, for gifting ? or for own use.
In addition to the toys, the shop also has car ? seats ?, child seats, and prams.
The staff members are friendly and informative ? ?. They give very important and practical information, help and advice.
I had experience buying a child seat and many toys ?. Every time I received great customer support from staff ? ?. The staff not only displayed the item in store but also offered a helping hand to show how it can be fit in the car. Great service, thank you.

I had a disappointing experience with a staff member named Magdalena at Smyths Toys in Watford. She was unfriendly, with an expression reminiscent of the Grinch at Christmas—hardly the warm, welcoming atmosphere you’d hope for in a toy store.

Always come to Smyths Watford as my preferred stop for all things kids and family. This time Aditi and Alison were very helpful to help us purchase a new car seat. They went through our options, measure my child's height and were so personable. Customer service is always friendly and knowledgeable and a wide choice of toys. Great to see families out together. Oh, and you can park!

Alison couldn’t have been more helpful and made our visit so much easier. She demonstrated the travel cot and high chair that we were interested in and was so friendly which made our experience much more enjoyable!
