I went in to buy a pair of roller blades and had no idea what I was doing. I’m 58 years old and new to “blading” but since the recent passing of my wife I’ve looked at adopting new hobbies and this is one that intrigued me. When I came in Cody was happy to help right away, and very knowledgeable. Thanks to him I look forward to experiencing my new hobby!

I cannot speak highly enough about Travis and Cody for their stellar service during our recent visit to Maui Nix in the Volusia mall. They were both so patient and helpful with my picky teen as he tried on endless shorts and shoes. They never gave up and kept encouraging him even though we initially left empty-handed. THEN we returned an hour later after visiting the Vans store and bought 2 items my son had previously tried on. In my son’s excitement (or absent teen brain), he left his Vans bag behind with all items inside! We didn’t realize until after we got home to Ponce Inlet, and even then, we thought we left it at Dillards or the Vans store. We had called both stores and lost all hope until Cody went the extra mile… he had a receipt from our purchase at Maui Nix and googled my name/found my number to call me and tell me he had put our Vans bag safely in the back for our return!! My son had been panicking so hard, he was beyond grateful when Cody called. And Cody was so kind about the whole thing. We only bought 2 items, but he treated us like we were the VIPs of the day. I honestly cannot remember the last time we received this level of customer service. Both Cody and Travis are standout ambassadors for the Maui Nix brand. Having previously owned a small retail surf shop myself many moons ago, I know all too well how rare and special a treasure these gentlemen are. Thank you thank you thank you!! I will return often and refer others. You made a customer for life!

On 10/19 arrived at store at 7:38pm to build a custom skateboard for my daughter for a Christmas present and buy myself a pair of Oakley Holbrook sunglasses. There was a male and female associate at the cash register. My wife and I weren't acknowledged or even greeted. We went to the back of the store to view what decks, wheels, trucks, etc the store had in stock. We spent about 10 minutes there and then proceeded to walk to front of the store to look at the Oakleys in the display case. Still no acknowledgement from the 2 employees. Unfortunately the store lost out on $400+ in sales at end of the night. I won't be back!

I was in yesterday and had the absolute BEST customer service!! The two guys that were working were so helpful and friendly! They even kept my daughters entertained lol. Lucky me he gave me one of the original Maui Nix stickers that I am putting on my jeep today! I usually go to the one on A1A... Will definitely be back to this one. This store fits me perfectly if you're ever hiring!

Cody was so helpful I went in to buy a gift for my boyfriend who happens to be super tall and hard to find things that fit we found the perfect item but they didn't have the right size in stock so he called the other location and had them put them on hold for me . He was so friendly and I really appreciated the above and beyond service .

Very organized store with respectful employees. The first time I visited the store I was greeted by a rep named Cody. I’ve been to this store multiple times because of how professional and easy going Cody was when it came to customer service and listening to what I was looking for. 5 stars for all of the associates and managers of this location, great store and atmosphere.
