Visited on a work trip to get some Deerfield souvenirs but this was one of the highlights of my trip! The vibe at this place is immaculate and the employees were so nice, welcoming, and helpful. The design in the store is on another level but the amount of things they have is amazing! They have everything you could want/need at the beach. Definitely visit if you’re in the area!!

I was looking for a specific pair of Vans that I was unable to find anywhere but then I came across Island Water Sports' website. They had one pair left in my size and I was on it. I hadn't heard of them prior to my purchase but reviews seemed promising so I decided to give them a shot. Very glad that I did.

I placed my order and they had it delivered to me FREE within 3 days. I'm in Atlanta so it's not terribly far, but I more than appreciate the free shipping and quick turnaround. I've read they're a smaller, family-owned business which makes it all the more awesome. They even included a cool little postcard. Excellent job from IWS and I will not hesitate to shop their website again or stop by if I'm ever in the Deerfield Beach area. Thank you!

This is THE PLACE! We got surfing lessons from Mark and he was amazing! None of us had tried surfing before and everyone in our group got up on a wave and road it. He was so encouraging and excited for us! We had a blast! It’s a short walk with your board to the beach, doesn’t get better than this I don’t think! Thanks Mark ?

I can't say enough good things about Island Water Sports and their staff. The store has all the gear you need for water sports or even just a day at the beach. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and make you feel welcome.

They also offer an assortment of board lessons, camps, and rentals including stand-up paddle board and surfing. On Saturday mornings, the instructors even donate their time to offer FREE SURF LESSONS!

G.C., Tom, Brandon and the rest of the crew are amazing teachers and awesome people and they just wanna share their love of surfing and the ocean with everyone! I've only been to 3 lessons and I'm already hooked. If it wasn't for this awesome team of people teaching me, I never would've had the courage to get out on the water and get up on the board.

I went to Island Water Sports for the first time to participate in the free surfing class on Saturday morning and it was a blast! The instructors were enthusiastic and supportive and the group atmosphere was great for first-time surfers like me as well as families.

Afterwards, I bought a rash guard from the store where I was helped by a staff member and then given a discount for having taken the group class. Everyone I interacted with was super friendly and fun! I will absolutely be coming back for more!
