Booked my car in for a full service. Dropped the car off at the scheduled time of 11:30. It says the car could be in all day which is fine but I will get it back that day. Alarm bells were ringing when they tried to sell me extra products when I dropped the car off. Isn't a full service enough?
After 4 and a half hours I walked past and saw my car in the car park so I went in despite not getting a phone call hoping it was ready. A service should take around 3 hours. I was told my car hadn't even been touched yet but would still be ready by the end of the day. So that would mean the full service would be done in just over an hour which means it would have been rushed. I asked for a refund and my keys and left. The staff didn't seem bothered in the slightest despite losing a customer.
I don't understand why they insist on booking a time for a service if they have no intention of sticking to it themselves.
I wouldn't recommend this place at all if you need your car servicing

Jordan was very helpful at reception, he was kind and smiling and ask me to move the car in a spot where it was safe from possible scratches and that was a good touch.
Jazz was the star of the show, she did a fantastic job. Her knowledge was 10/10 and also the dash cam fitting was 10/10, what a gem! Perfetto!

Fantastic customer service today at Halfords York. Bought a child car seat and the most lovely young man served me and demonstrated how to fit it correctly. He had endless patience with me and it was much appreciated. Thank you.

Called into Halfords tonight to collect a bulb as my registration light fitting and bulb had fallen out . Ollie was just amazing he spent so much of his precious time and actually managed to get the car fitting and bulb back from the where it had fallen down within my car !! He fitted it again and it works he is brilliant !! Great customer service nothing was too much trouble ! Thanks Ollie Halfords should be very proud to employ him

Walked into the store 2 hours before it closes for an urgent tyre replacements. Met David and he swiftly replaced my flat tyres in just an hour. Answered all my queries while I was waiting for my bike which was quite helpful. All in all it was a pleasure experience 🙂

Good stock, well set out.

Not enough staff to help if more than two people are upstairs. Not helpful now all the bikes have been chained up so you can't even try them for size.
Other than that it's what you expect.

Avoid avoid avoid took my car in at 1130 as they requested car did not go into the workshop till 1540 then the phone rang to say it is ready at 1710.1hour 30 for full service which I thought was on the quick side.Drove off and straight away message on dash said low oil so pulled over and called the AA to be on the safe side.Was told engine oil needed topping up not the required amount of oil in the engine. Basically they had rushed and not checked the oil level I will never use these clowns again.
