Sadly, it's not the best experience I've had in a bike shop. Went expecting friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff, received neither, nor even a smile. Lady at the till was very moody, I had to ask them if they could help us down the stairs with the bike as I think they expected us to carry it. The lady who brought the bike out did not hardly speak to us. There was a lift, but I felt they didn't want us to use it. Paid extra to have the bike set up, and we got halfway home to realise it had a very warped bike chain cover, and the pedal wouldn't turn. Rather than head back in the cold, we came home, and I'm going to take the cover off and replace it with a better one. The bike was lovely. Otherwise, my son was very pleased for his new bmx. Shame the customer service isn't better when you spend a lot of money with a store.

Just wanted to share a great experience we had at the Telford store today. We had a problem with my car battery, Emma, on the tills was an absolute joy to deal with. She sorted us out, gave us some great advice and we couldn’t have been more impressed with her. She really knows her stuff. Thank you Emma, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with you.

I collect my bike today. Ian the guy who delt with me from start to finish was very professional and explained everything in detail and went above and beyond to help me. Ian is a great credit to Halfords cycle centre. Would definitely recommend his service.

I have just bought an electric bike at Halfords, Telford.
The particular make and size were not at the Telford store but assistant, Ian, rang around other stores locating a bike for me to collect 4 days later from Telford.
The level of service I received from Ian and Dan was 15/10 - no time pressure, thoughtful suggestions - both went above and beyond what I would have expected.
Great service - thanks to them both.

Have only ever had good experiences here. Bought my bike 7/8yrs ago and it's still going strong.
Got a whole new brake and gear system fitted when I fell off in summer and recently got a new inner tube fitted as my tyre was flat.
Ian is an extremely helpful employee and his service was amazing!
I know I can rely on halfords for all my cycling and motoring needs

I actually went there to fix my bike because I had an accident with it. I met Ian and Fatima, they were very friendly and welcoming. They got my bike fixed perfectly more than expected. They make my bike new again. They put smile on my face.

Ordered two new headlight bulbs for my car and added fitting. Went to the Halfords store at a time convenient to me. Bulbs fitted by someone who knew what they are doing, a trained mechanic. Car back on the road in under 10minutes. Mechanic a friendly and chatty young person. Thank you. Very efficient.
