The bike was lovely! & made up in good time.
But to our disadvantage when we got home e noticed there was some scrape damage & marks om one off the mud guards fitted to the bike. If this was done while it was made up or if this was the way it was when unpacked I certainly wouldn't off accepted it if I had seen it from walking out of the shop. To off paid almost £180 for a present for our youngest daughter for Xmas I would off thought it should of been in good condition throughout. Not sure what can be done now. Let's hope the doll carrier covers it over. Not sure if a replacement mud garden is applicable. Regards Mr & Mrs Mills

Absolutely shocking treatment from staff in store this evening. My young daughter who suffers with severe anxiety, who has to be escorted when out visited the store this evening with my son in law.
She has just brought her first car and went shopping for some accessories for the car. She took her time looking at phone holders/mounts making sure the one she brought would fit her phone. She then went to the car air freshener section which is near the checkout. She was approached by a female member of staff and told we know what you are doing, we are watching you, you are shop lifting. At no point had my daughter passed the last point to pay let alone the shop.
What should have been a pleasant shopping experience buying stuff for her car has left my daughter traumatised and very upset.
Think the staff need some training on definition of shop lifting and their people skills.

Very polite and helpful at the till and when a man came and done the job on my car he had to move my bags to do the job, and put it all back in place all with a happy face .

Halfords who dealt with our matter professionally & I'm pleased to say a new
bike was ordered, the doll carrier & stabilisers
all fitted in store today. We will have a very pleased 4yr old daughter at Christmas. Simon
helped us & we can't fault his actions in getting everything organised for our collection today.

Gave this visit 5 stars this time because of the great service we got from the one member of staff that helped my Mrs from start to finish and it was only on a reversing bulb for her car but it's the little things that go a long way . Great job to staff member Rae . U need to keep hold of this staff member a great contribution to your team

This is something that UK as a whole is bad on, restroom facilities.
Having a 2hr appointment, nowhere to sit and not allowed to use the stores restroom, told to go a local coffee shop. Fortunately the installation was completed in 1hr. All seemed good until a little later in the day I went to use the glove box in my van and it has either been damaged or not refitted properly. Trying to contact the store you get a call center which was less than helpful and would have to wait for a call from them . So at present nothing has happened so will have to use my own time to go to the store for them to fix or arrange a repair and replacement of the glove box

Sadly things have got worse as later in the day I found that damage has been cause to my van. They have looked at it this morning as I had to take time out from my work day so they could inspect it. Still waiting for the manager to respond to say exactly what they are going to do about the damage.

i went to halfords clacton on saturday 26/10/24 to purchase a tyre pump for my car and was asked if i was a motring club member to see if was entitelld to a £5.00 discount but the till said i was not a member but the main computer said i was so i did not get it what a waste of time
