My car battery needed changing. The lady who served us was very bubbly and friendly. She was very knowledgeable about cars too! She found 2 battery options for my car and let me choose which one I’d like. Once I’ve chosen and paid she then installed the battery taking only about 5 minutes. Top service thank you ?

I recently visited Halfords in Catford to get a stop-start battery fitted in my VW Transporter, and I was blown away by the exceptional service I received. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The mechanic who assisted me was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.

He meticulously tested my old battery, showing me the different areas where it wasn’t performing optimally. This thorough explanation helped me understand why I needed a new battery and made me confident in my purchase. He then guided me through selecting the correct battery for my vehicle, ensuring I got the best fit for my needs.

But the service didn’t stop there. The mechanic expertly fitted the new battery and even programmed it into the system. What truly impressed me was the care and attention to detail throughout the process. Despite the shop closing time, the staff stayed later to make sure everything was sorted out for me. Their dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction were evident.

Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, efficient, and clearly passionate about their work. The level of customer service at Halfords Catford is truly top-notch. I can’t recommend them highly enough – A* all around!

Went in to Halfords for the first time ever to get my dipped beam bulbs supplied and fitted was help by a gentlemen sorry didn’t get his name who put me on the list waited about 30mins as it was very busy and was greeted by Joseph he was so polite from start to finish apologising about the wait, he then check my lights fully explaining everything and fitted them so quickly and professionally he then checked they were working properly before putting my car back together. I would definitely go back there again for the small things needed on my car I do hope both polite young gentleman get the credit and acknowledgment needed.

The Catford branch were very helpful when I needed a bike for my son. Joseph in particular went out of his way to ensure I had what I had asked for despite there being issues with the system. He was helpful, friendly and reliable and I would definitely recommend this store

Went to get my bike fix the first time the guy who works in that section with glasses said he had had enough for the day and walked shop floor so no customer could get their bike fixed. I went the a second time. I booked bike in a Friday to collect on Sunday. They had not booked my bike in and then told me I can not pick up and third time he walked out again let customers standing. If he does not like his job he should move aside and let someone else have it. I then called their customer service which is based in South Africa and the girl on phone could not be bothered to take complaint. Halfords in Catford is the worst shop. I would like to give them 0

I needed to purchase new licence plates as mine had been stolen. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and informative - I was really impressed. Thank you! (visited 28.7.24 around 1pm).
