Very satisfied with my visit today. I'd booked a time slot to bring my car in (battery was on its last legs so had to go straight there after being jump started by breakdown services) and the staff member was kind enough to get the job done nearly 45 minutes early so I could get to work. He did a really thorough job on the vehicle and seemed very knowledgeable.

We'd been in yesterday and were assisted by a staff member in choosing a bike for our son. He really knew his stuff and let our lad try different bikes and determined the size he needed. Apologies I can't remember his name but he was an older gentleman with glasses. A really great guy.

Today my wife popped in to order the bike from Halfords as opposed to a couple of other stores we'd been to, mostly because of the great guy we met yesterday.

She was served by a young staff member called Arthur. Never had there been a more cocky, arrogant, full of attitude, disinterested individual. My wife placed the bike order, but, actually came away regretting doing so such is her anger about this individual. Despite asking a few times to confirm the order and collection, he still has managed to book the incorrect time and informed us he doesn't know what we need to fetch in when we collect the bike.

I'll update the score and review when we actually receive the bike.

We went in to Barnsley branch on Saturday to buy a new car seat after a bad experience with Smyths. The lad who served us called George. He was absolutely brilliant and really helpful. We came away with a new car seat all fitted. Brilliant.

Ordered two kids bikes from Halfords. Good prices and great after sales service. Both were ready at the allotted collection time and adjusted for each child's requirements in store while waiting. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, extending to assistance with fitting and using my new tow bar fitted cycle rack. first class service much appreciated.

Bought a dashcam bundle (front and rear facing) and had them fitted by Halfords so they were installed properly and looked neat. The staff fitting the cameras were fantastic, it was done immaculately and I was shown how they were set up and how to access my files via the app. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Can't fault the 2 gentlemen that served us today. They were rushed off their feet but did everything they could for us in such a calm and collected way. Absolutely fantastic customer service. I wont be going anywhere else. Thanks so much.

Ordered a motorcycle battery online within an hour it was ready to collect. As soon as i walked in the door it was ready with a smile. Top service from barnsley halfords store thanks really got me out of a pickle

AJ repaired my chipped windscreen today and did an amazing job. He was polite throughout and I couldn’t even tell where it was originally chipped! Ian on the counter was also great in saving me £5 off the repair cost by joining the free Halfords club. Overall great branch, will choose here for anymore motoring needs.
