I had the best vehicle-buying experience ever. First, with one phone call to Nate (the general manager), the deal was done—and at a great price. But the follow-through was also amazing. The purchasing process was very standard. No water provided during the wait with my two girls. Price point was slightly below Moto United offer for the same ski.

Major issue when using the jet ski two days after purchase. The mechanic did not secure the electrical to the newly installed battery so the screen cut out, shut the ski down several times until I figured out the cables were extremely loose.

On further inspection at home the trailer leaf springs on the right hand side was not bolted on correctly and was in danger of coming out. Also the right wheel on the trailer has one lug nut that’s just a nut and does not match the other lug nuts and is not a road worthy.

So i paid my $20k for the ski and trailer but I plan to use another approved vendor to perform future service. I can not trust a company who put my family in danger during transport. I also will not be requesting repairs from Del Amo Motorsports regarding the issue I have after purchase. When speaking with Zach, he appologized for the issues but I was told to bring it in…… sorry but if you can’t get it done right the first time, why would I bring it back?

At the end of the day, Del Amo Motorsports had lost my trust.

I signed all their paperwork as requested but they didn’t really do the proper walk around, they didn’t really go through proper information and it was basically like here you go, sign our docs and you can take it.

I am an experienced boater. I can work on my own stuff and fix issues to my standards. If I were a first timer, this would have been a bigger issue. Also, the sales people
Know basic stuff about these Skis but not actual knowledge. It’s more of a we probably know more than you so I will give you my answers but they assume your new and don’t know what you are asking.

Update: I must say that Del Amo of Long Beach does actually care. I purchased a motorcycle from them and there were some maintenance issues that I took care of myself. After which I left an unfavorable review on here, that can be viewed and read below. The GM contacted me and asked me how they could fix it. They ended up making it right and I am greatful to them for it. If you go the Del Amo of Long Beach, be sure to bring up any concerns that you may have, they will take care of you for sure. I would definitely recommend this place

Previous review: Don’t come here to this place, these people are liars and full of B.S. I went in to purchase a motorcycle. And I did end up purchasing it, however, The bike was running strangely popping at idle and hesitating on takeoff. Told the guy wasn’t interested, He had a service guy come out explain to me the bike has a tuner in it. I decided to proceed, purchase the bike ride at home and it’s still popping at idle, I look deeper into it and turns out that it’s only running on one cylinder and occasionally firing the other cylinder. I tear the bike apart myself and discovered that none of the spark plugs have been changed. I changed the spark plugs and it runs fine. What the hell kind of service department do they have where they can’t even change spark plugs?!!! I’m just an average guy and I figured out there was something wrong with this bike, they had it for how long and couldn’t figure it out or just didn’t care. So either way they sold me a bike that they knew wasn’t running right, and yes I was stupid enough to go ahead with the purchase, I thank God that it worked out It just being spark plugs. This place is full of scam artists and liars. Don’t trust them, Don’t touch this place, don’t go near it. I’m extremely unhappy with how they just wanted to offload the bike and didn’t spend the time doing a routine inspection before selling used inventory. They can’t even do that. These people will smile at you and lie straight to your face. I’m sure they’ll sell you a lemon if they can. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING AT ALL!!!

After my last review, Del Amo contacted me and asked to discuss my comments. I spoke with Bobby, the Manager for Long Beach and he went to the service department right away to get the details. He spoke with Damian who handled my order and called me right back to explain. He assured me that the service department has been instructed to be sure their work does not leave until it has been cleaned properly. I appreciate his time and attention and I will continue to be a customer.
