Stopped off at 6pm just as the fitter was heading home. He asked what the problem was - our newly purchased second hand car had a possible battery fault and we needed to drive to Scotland in the morning. He did several diagnostic checks without us even asking, just to make sure we were safe. It turns out we probably don't need a new battery, but he said to pop back tomorrow if we have any more issues. This guy deserves a part on the back for excellent customer service!

1st class service.. I went to the Stanley green estate store and the service manager (sorry I forgot his name) fantastic customer service and a great price… I’ve used the same garage for 30 years plus so I was incredibly sceptical about using halfords but I’ll will definitely be using them from now onwards! And cheaper than 2 other places I went to that day! I had a battery replacement done and dusted while I went for a coffee.

I needed to get a headlight replaced urgently, so booked a fitting time slot online this Sunday afternoon. It was pretty busy when I arrived, and whilst I waited I decided to check which wipers I'd need too. I went to look for help and was served by a friendly young guy, Emmanuel (forgot to look for a name badge so had to ask someone for his name?). Emmanuel could not have been more pleasant and helpful throughout. He popped out to my car to check which type of wipers as I wasn't sure which of the options I currently had. I'd mentioned about the headlight fitting appointment as I wanted to check I had selected the correct bulb on my click and collect order. Emmanuel then without hesitation offered to fit the correct bulb whilst he was there, saving me time as the fitting appointments had got a little behind schedule. This was a really nice touch and impressive service, taking this initiative without being prompted. Big thanks to Emmanuel for the efficiency, a credit to the store. ?

The staff were not welcoming. I visited yesterday to check on some headlights that weren’t working, but it seemed like the ladies at reception had no interest in working or even moving. An older lady tried to help and asked a younger colleague to check it for me, but she was rude and unwilling to do anything or even offer advice. I ended up going to another branch, where they replaced the bulbs in less than 15 minutes. Very disappointing service and behaviour – I would not recommend.

Unbelievable. Amazing. Very professional. Lewis initially checked my bike, within minutes he diagnosed the problem and helped me source parts. I was gobsmacked. I had just walked in with my bike, and he was like a "Ninja" cutting and snipping cables in seconds. I was so pleased with his advice.

As soon as the parts got delivered to me, I took my bicycle in. This time it was Queh-Chen, he was just as knowledgeable and very good.

It took him less than half an hour to get it all fixed.

I should mention my bicycle is a rare BMW Cruise Bike! But these boys made it brand new!

I was so so impressed, I had to bring in my BMW mountain bike, hydraulic brake problem. This took minutes to assess and correct.

Waste of time. The staff are useless and the service is horrible. They said their system was down and could not process any online orders or accept card payments. Absolute joke from a multi million pound company. Ordered a tool set online and when i went to collect they said they cannot process the order as they don't have access to their system. Even when I showed them the phone with the purchase order, they said there is nothing they can do. They said they couldn't even refund the order themselves and i would have to cancel online. They are absolutely useless. Avoid this place at all costs. They also have very long wait times when it comes to inspecting vehicles or fitting parts that you may have purchased. Tried to get them to replace a headlight bulb and after waiting over 30 minutes in the cold, they said they couldn't do it as it wasn't a simple bulb fitment and parts had to be removed and they couldn't do it due to health and safety blah blah. Advised that we could take it to a local garage or book it into one of their garages for an extortionate price just to replace the bulb. All in all a horrible experience and I wont be going back. Avoid this location.

This place is falling about

You find everything yourself, queue for one person behind the till ask to fit a bulb if there’s someone available they said pull up the car only to find someone else is booked in before me. It’s not that someone else is before me that’s the issue they are just so rude inconsiderate and treat people like they are worthless. Now quite happy to pay double because people are considerate

Booked in to get headlight bulb replaced- Toyota Yaris, near side, it’s tricky as there’s very little room and no visibility due to position of the fuse box. Suggestions on YouTube were to loosen/remove the bumper. Within 5 mins Rob had replaced the bulb (with bumper in situ). Very friendly professional service. Will definitely book in again if needed. Thanks
