Went to collect online order from Halfords and the young lady couldn’t find it so asked us to wait whilst she checked in the back , after a while we saw her walk out of the door and thought she was asking staff that were outside.

After waiting 15 mins we asked someone else where she’d gone Home was the reply , she had gone home & left us waiting !! Absolutely unbelievable and the item we ordered was where she had looked in the first place although it took someone else three goes to find it. The manager on being told smiled and said “I’ll phone her and find out why she did that” - not helpful is it

Took my bike for the free bike health check and was extremely satisfied with the service I received. Booked it the day before with lots of slots available. The bike check took around 30 mins and even sorted out a couple of the very basic issues it had (frayed gear cable and bumpy inner tube) free of charge! Very friendly and helpful, thanks guys -Sorry didn’t get your names.

Shak at Kilner Way Sheffield Halfords was so great today. He tested my battery which was fine, and replaced my bulbs. I have to say he was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional all with a smile. Excellent customer service thank you!

Bought new headlights and figured I would pay to have Halfords fit them. Took car for an MOT for it fail on one thing, incorrectly fitted headlights. Another joy of the visit was for my husband to hear the woman that served me at the till bad mouthing me to the fitter and calling me stupid for walking off and leaving my car when she had told me that someone had to be in the car whilst the bulbs were fitted. She had told me this and I had said to her my husband was in the car and I was nipping to another shop whilst we waited for someone to be free to fit the bulbs. I also made the fitter aware of this. The fitter did correct her and said she knew I was in another shop and my husband was in the car at which point she walked off. Rude and unprofessional.

Appalling service! I have been rebooked twice for a new display (in car) radio system. First time, the technician was on holiday so nobody could do it (despite someone actually booking it in), second time was due to parts that were required had not been delivered. I thought going to Halfords (a reputable company)would be able to solve the situation. Turns out that isn’t the case. I even CALLED the Halfords number today to “double check” that it would be going ahead and they stated yes!
My in car display system has been going off and on for two months, I have tried everything and thought I’d let a good company sort it out. Won’t be going here again.

EDIT: I have recently contacted Halfords customer service who will pass on the information to the appropriate team. Currently awaiting a phone call from the team. Thank you for your response
