On arriving at the store I was greeted by Steve who had just completed a fitting for another customer. I asked if he could fit my head light bulb today despite my booking being for 24/12/24.
It was extremely cold and dark but Steve didn’t hesitate. The fitting took 5 mins. Steve was excellent at his job, super helpful, friendly and polite. After he had finished fitting my bulb he went to collect the other items I had ordered and explained that my receipt would be emailed to me. I cannot praise this excellent service enough and I would highly recommend.,

Had my battery fitted here yesterday along with a tyre check. It was well priced and I was served quickly by Adam who provided top tier customer service. A really helpful, informative and lovely guy. I would return and recommend to friends purely for his service. All over a great experience.

I had the Road Angel Halo 4k pro dash cam fitted and the product is fine, but the service was poor. No help or guidance once the product was fitted, lady on customer service team ticking boxes for exercises which never took place. There was no courtesy or handover from the team, I was given the key back then almost shoved out the door. The technician should have provided a demo or at least some insight on how to operate this, instead I got a reply that it will be ‘straight forward’. I’ve never known anything like it, absolute full of excuses and I would never return. Fuming!

I ordered a child seat on line and it was available to pick up the next day. I collected and staff were great. I was a bit worried it wasn’t in a box but was assured it was new. This was added to as at the back of store were two in boxes! Wonder why I didn’t get a box but hoping what she said was true.

Mostly efficient, I had to wait a little to get sorted as their were a few customers in front of me in the queue. Once it was my turn which was only 15 mins wait my new bulb was fitted in no time. The chap who did the work was very personable as well.

Excellent, excellent, excellent customer service given by Mark, who assisted us with purchasing a bike for my 14 year old daughter who has Down syndrome. His knowledge , expertise, patience and understanding were of the highest level. He advised on the most appropriate bike for my daughters needs. Gave helpful tips on my daughter getting on and off the bike to make it easier for her, informed us on the correct frame/ tyre size for her height and experience. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he engaged with my daughter in a most caring yet professional manner, helping her with her choice. Mark was in no way a pushy salesman, but instead went out of his way to ensure my daughter was comfortable and understood all the things he said in a friendly manner. He put my own concerns at ease with his professionalism and extensive knowledge. When I asked his advice on a bike carrier, we went to discuss with the assistant manager Adam, as Mark informed me that Adam was very knowledgeable in this area. As it turned out my car was unsuitable for any of the bike carriers available, so before I purchased the bike, Mark actually took the bike we had chosen out into the car park, ensuring he covered all safety procedures by wearing a high vis jacket and put the bike into my car to ensure that it would fit for when we go out and about. It did fit, which was a great relief. Mark then went on to inform us how to measure the head size for the correct fitting helmet for my daughter, again I was extremely impressed with his wealth of knowledge and his concern for safety. We purchased the bike to be collected just before my daughters birthday. I hope that Halfords will recognise both Mark and Adam for their enthusiasm in their job and also for the most outstanding customer service I have ever experienced. Thankyou, a very grateful mother x
